Dagda manor park with the cave

Parka street un YIC ''Parka rozes'', Dagda, +371 25727379, tic.dagda@kraslava.lv

The 400-year-old park is the only one remaining from the 17th-century Dagda Manor. In the center of the park, there is a hill where a stage has been set up today.

Every year, celebrations for Līgo, St. Anna’s Day, and other holidays are held here. It is a popular place for walks.

Within the Dagda Manor park, there is also a small cave — unlike other caves in Latvia, which were formed in sandstone or carved in dolomite, the Dagda cave is considered a natural phenomenon, as it was formed from gravel and pebbles. The cave is a protected geological and geomorphological natural monument. It is easily accessible through the territory of the Dagda Youth Initiative Center “Park of Roses.”
