The main activity of SIA “Krāslavas avots” is the production and sale of beer. The brewery started operating in 1988. Over time, the brewery was rebuilt and modernized, with significant investments made in new technologies. Currently, the brewery employs 15 people.
The brewery specializes in producing “live” beer using traditional methods. Two types of beer are produced: “Original Krāslava Light Live Beer with Honey” and “Krāslava Dark Live Beer with Honey.”
For tourist groups (from 10 people), the brewery offers a tour (in Russian) and a tasting of the two types of beer with toast. Beer is also available for takeaway.
