Dagda Hillfort (also known as Zamok) is a national archaeological monument (No. 1071), built ona narrow glacial ridge about 20 m above the surroundings, with an absolute height of 175–180 m above sea level. Its plateau measures roughly 100 × 50 m, featuring a 2 m deep central hollow. The site is protected by two southern rampart-andditch systems, a steep eastern slope, and a narrow northern ridge, forming strong natural defenses.
Archaeological finds - Iron Age pottery and artifacts - show that the hillfort was inhabited and fortified in ancient times.
