This is the first stop of the initiative “Hiking the Borderland / Izstaigā pierobežu.”
A small wooden pavilion, 3 × 3 meters in size, quietly blends into the landscape. It is built without metal joints, using traditional construction methods. Its vertical form evokes border towers and chapels, while the circle—a window to the viewing platform—symbolically marks a meeting place.
The pavilion is freely accessible to everyone—a place to pause, listen, and feel how the border transforms into a confluence.
